Quad Bikes now carries Batavus Bikes!

We just got these in a few weeks ago, and man are they sweet! The Batavus Old Dutch comes with everything a city biker could need. You get full fenders, front and back light, rear rack with bungee cord, wheel lock, full chainguard, and a bell! One speed with a coaster brake makes the Old Dutch perfect for Cambridge streets. I took one of these out for a test ride and it was amazingly comfortable. We've got several colors and sizes, so come down and take one for a ride!
Bring us your bikes!
Give us your rusty, your poorly wired, your
neglected masses longing to be free.
Before you take off for parts unknown, consider
donating your (t)rusty steed to us at Quad Bikes. Next year's freshmen
will certainly appreciate your generosity when they find our shop
chock-full of lovingly refurbished bikes.
For the capitalists among us, we will buy bikes
that come to us in decent shape.
Announcement:
If you have a bike that you need to get rid of, please consider
donating it to Quad Bikes -- we
are in need of bikes and will put it to good use. Depending on
the condition of the bike, we may be able to give you some money
for it.

Shop Hours:
Tue - Sat, 1:00pm - 6:30pm
(Please note: these hours are our
hours at all times of year. If we change them, we will let you
know.)
We love to put people on bikes. Voluntarily, of
course. Whether you are a first-time biker, or you are intimate
with the interior of a seven-speed internally-geared coaster brake
hub, you probably should come by for a visit.
If you're new to biking, we'd love to get you
hooked up with a low-maintenance used bike, show you the basics
of bicycle care, and teach you about bike safety. Just drop by and
ask about getting started with one of our bikes.
If you're a track-standing cred-machine, come
by and talk shop. Shop time is $8/hr; working with a mechanic's
assistance is $18/hr, and billable in minute intervals.
If you'd like to learn more about bicycles, you
should consider volunteering for Quad Bikes. It's sort of like a
barter system - work for education. Or, as my alma mater says, "learning
and labor." Just drop in or shoot us an email, and we'll tell
you everything there is to know about our volunteer program.
