About Us

Quad Bikes is the non-profit bicycle shop for the Harvard Community. Our mission is to encourage people in the area to understand, use, and appreciate bicycles through bicycle repair, sale of parts, accessories, and refurbished bicycles, classes, and a workspace rental service. We are the on-campus source for bicycles and service.

History

Quad Bikes was founded in 2003 by Harvard graduate Tim Ledlie assisted by JC Agudelo. First located in a single-room in the basement of Eliot, Quad Bikes has since grown to a full-service shop for the Harvard Community.

Volunteer

Vounteering with Quad Bikes is a great way to learn about the exciting world of bicycles. Volunteers can help us with shop organization, stripping bikes, truing wheels and refurbishing bikes. With time volunteers can gain discounts on parts and free workspace usage.

Quad Bikes is a non-profit that depends on donations to survive. If you have a bicycle, parts, or accessories lying around that you would like used again, please consider donating to Quad Bikes.
In the past, we’ve had people donate stickers, bikes, parts, an air compressor, a table-mounted grinder, and even their graphic design talents.
