PBHA
October 2007: Quad Bikes donates
a bike refurbishment and various accessories to the MassBike Film
Festival. MassBike, or the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition, is a
nonprofit out of Boston promoting healthy and safe bicycling in
the state of Massachusetts, as well as working towards legislative
changes favorable to bikers.
October 13, 2007: Quad Bikes
attends the annual PBHA bike auction to advise on bikes up for grabs.
September-October 2007: Quad
Bikes gathers and assesses abandoned bikes in Harvard Yard on behalf
of PBHA.
Spring 2007: Quad Bikes provides
bike goods to Bike and Build at a discounted rate, and donates funds
to the organization. Bike & Build organizes cross-country bicycle
trips which benefit affordable housing groups.
2007: Quad Bikes continues to
work with building managers around campus to clean up racks and
recycle abandoned bikes.
Spring 2006: Quad Bikes provides

works with Cabot, Pforzheimer, and Currier building managers to
tag and cut locks of abandoned bikes around the Quad.

18th, 2005: Quad Bikes gives free bike safety checks at
the Bicyclist Appreciation Breakfast at the Au Bon Pain in Holyoke
Center.
October 16th, 2004: Quad Bikes
volunteered bicycle expertise during during the PBHA bike auction.
October 6, 2004: Quad Bikes gave
free bike safety-checks during the University Health Services Health
Fair in front of the Science Center.
September 11, 2004: Upon request
from Harvard Yard Operations, Quad Bikes was present at the Freshman
key distribution tent alongside key distribution by Crimson Key,
network CD distribution by FASCS, Courses of Instruction distribution,
and on-campus telephone info from PAETEC. Quad Bikes was giving
information about keeping a bike on campus, cycling safety and laws,
and about Quad Bikes in general.
May 19, 2004: Quad Bikes gave
free tune-ups for the Harvard Bicycle Commuter's Breakfast put on
by the CommuterChoice
program.
April 25, 2004: Quad Bikes and
HUMBA
gave free tune-ups at Earth Day. We worked on around 75 bikes.
April 21, 2004: Quad Bikes and
the Kirkland bike-sharing project
jointly won the the Green
Cup Challenge.

4, 2003: PBHA Bike Auction: Quad Bikes appraised the bicycles
for auction, donated two refurbished bicycles, registered bikes
with HUPD, and provided bicycle mechanic expertise. Thank you to
PBHA for including us in the event.
October 1, 2003: Quad Bikes provided free safety checks
at the Health Fair in front of the Science Center. We helped get
over 40 bikes back into safe working order. Thanks to UHS for having
us, and Brent Bell for volunteering his expertise.
September 25, 2003: Read the article
that the Harvard Gazette wrote about us.
September 23, 2003: We survived the flood!! Due to heavy
rain and poor drainage, one of our windows turned into a waterfall,
and we were submerged in a couple inches of water. Huge thanks to
Greg Santoni who helped keep things under control.
September 12, 2003: After a summer in a smaller temporary
location, Quad Bikes returns to its regular space. We are happy
to see the sun!
September 10, 2003: Quad Bikes provides free safety checks
at the HBS Health Fair. In our effort to serve the Harvard Community
at large, we help out business school students make sure that their
bikes are safe and in good working order.

May 14, 2003: Working with the Harvard CommuterChoice
program, Quad Bikes gave free tune-ups from 7:30 until 9:30am at
the CommuterChoice Bicycle Breakfast in front of Au Bon Pain, and
again from 11:30 until 1:30pm on the Science Center Lawn at the
CommuterChoice Spring Transportation Fair. We serviced a total of
approximately 40 bikes. Thank to all who came and helped!
April 27, 2003: SpringFest! Quad Bikes teamed up
with HUMBA (Harvard University Mountain Biking Association) to provide
Harvard students FREE tune-ups and parts. Sponsored by the Environmental
Action Committee and Earth Day, the two organizations set up shop
in the Kirkland Courtyard, and we estimate that between noon and
5pm we serviced approximately 50 bikes. Many thanks to the EAC and
HUMBA for collaborating on this event!
April 8, 2003: After several months of dialogue,
Quad Bikes received final approval from the Harvard University to
conduct its business on campus. They simply could not refuse our
proposal.
